Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR is led by an American Heart Association instructor. This course teaches students single rescuer, two-person rescuer, and team dynamic BLS. This certification is required for most Healthcare Professionals. This certification is designed to enhance each healthcare professional’s understanding of providing high quality CPR and the benefit of early defibrillation in a team setting.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED training is led by an AHA instructor. This course is designed to equip each student to provide first aid, CPR, and to use an automated external defibrillator efficiently. This course is tailored to fit the needs of the student(s) and can be provided onsite or offsite at your location.

Step 1: Online Course

Students will complete their certification course using online modules and eSimulations. This process is developed and approved by the American Heart Association to actively engage the student in a virtual scenario.  View our Online Course Platform HERE.

Step 2: Skills Session

Once Students have successfully completed their online course, Students will then come to the EHE Simulation Center to complete the required Hands-On Skills session using the American Heart Association’s Voice Assisted Manikins. The VAM will accurately determine the correct technique and skills of each student with precise monitoring. After successful completion of the Hands-On Skills session, students will receive their certification cards same day.

HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) is an online two-step process of the Provider BLS CPR Certification. This online certification includes both the AHA eLearning course as well as the required hands-on skills session with an AHA Voice Assisted Manikins (VAM). The AHA eLearning tool simulates actual CPR dramatizations to assist in educating students in basic life support. The independent self-directed step-by-step eLearning environment allows the student the ability to learn at their own pace in the safety and comforts of their own home.

HeartCode Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a two-step blended eLearning course offered through the American Heart Association. The ACLS Certification course allows students to complete the AHA online simulation modules as well the required hands-on skills session with an AHA voice assisted manikin. This course builds on the students’ foundation of lifesaving Basic Life Support skills with an emphasis on providing high quality CPR.

For students who have completed the HeartCode: Provider BLS course separately from the virtual course offered through EHE, are now able to complete the required hands-on skill session with an AHA Voice Assisted Manikin. The successful completion of the hands-on skills session is required to receive your Provider BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
